The Extension Side Wings +3 are designed to expand the load-carrying capacity of all micro chest rigs by three MOLLE PALS columns on each side, useful for adding zippered cargo pouches externally like the Zippered Utility 4x3 FZ or the Zippered Utility 5x3, and internally an insert for a radio such as the Medium Radio Velcro Insert or for another magazine like the 5.56 Mag Velcro Insert.
The base structure made out of Tegris® technopolymer is topped by LAHYCO composite fabric, provided with Multi-Dot MOLLE PALS system by FROG.PRO® which, besides pouches attachment, also allows for the addition of shock cords for retention of radio cables, chemlights or tourniquet.
The inner part is lined with Velcro® brand Velour loop fastener, allowing for the attachment of various radio or magazine inserts such as the MBITR Velcro Insert, 7.62 Mag Velcro Insert, etc.
The kit includes n.4 shock cord laces with ITW Nexus® GT Tactical Toggles, which are used to secure the chest rig to the Extension Side Wings +3 and prevent the velcro from separating under torsion. A solution as simple as it is effective.
