Modular Reconnaissance Split Front Chest Rig

The Modular Reconnaissance Split Front Chest Rig is designed to provide a high load-capacity platform with a central front opening, developed for long-range reconnaissance operations.

The two front sections, joined by a robust YKK® central zipper, allow the panel to be fully opened when required, promoting ventilation and relief during prolonged movement. The split front configuration is also ideal for operators who frequently assume the prone position, such as snipers, forward observers or machine gunners, allowing the front section to be opened and the operator to lie prone without pressure points on the chest.

The Modular Reconnaissance Split Front Chest Rig is constructed from proprietary laser-cut LAHYCO composite fabric and integrates the FROG.PRO® Multi-Dot MOLLE PALS system. This hole-and-slot structure ensures full compatibility with traditional MOLLE PALS pouches and allows direct retention of radio cables, tourniquet and other equipment using 1/8” shock cord. The LAHYCO fabric is NIR-Compliant, hydrophobic and flame resistant: it reduces NVG signature, improves mobility in wet or maritime environments and enhances operator protection in case of fire exposure.

The inner lateral section is lined with Velour loop fastener by Velcro® brand, allowing the application of various radio or magazine inserts. The true modularity of the system lies in its ability to be configured as either a front panel or a complete chest rig.

The rear Ultra-Mate® by Velcro® hook backing allows direct mounting onto a plate carrier or integration with shoulder straps and a padded back panel for scalable, highly modular chest rig configurations.
