The Modular Reconnaissance Heavy Harness is an anatomical shoulder harness designed to provide stability, support, and comfort when using fully equipped chest rigs. Its modular architecture allows the rear harness section to be combined with different front interfaces, enabling the operator to configure the platform according to mission requirements.
Its ergonomic structure, featuring a wide profile and closed-cell polyethylene foam padding, is designed to distribute the load over a larger shoulder surface, improving comfort when operating with heavy load configurations.
The anatomical shape of the shoulder straps follows the natural curvature of the shoulder, helping to distribute the carried load efficiently. The X-shaped configuration on the back, combined with elastic sub-scapular straps made from 1" MIL-SPEC webbing A-A-55301 with MIL-W-5664 elastic insert, allows natural chest expansion during breathing and improves the operator’s freedom of movement.
The shoulder-mounted hook-and-loop adjustment system allows the operator to quickly adapt the strap length and the position of the front interface module, enabling precise adjustment of the platform setup.
The harness is designed to work with different interchangeable front modules, such as light front straps for minimal configurations or dedicated chest panels like the EUD Panel for integrating electronic devices. The harness is intentionally supplied without a front module, allowing the operator to configure the platform according to operational needs.
The connection to the platform is achieved through four Due Emme Click-In buckles, which can be easily installed on front panels to convert them into micro chest rigs or on extension wings to create configurations with increased load-carrying capacity.
The rear panel also integrates an emergency extraction handle and a MOLLE PALS interface, allowing the attachment of a hydration carrier for water transport during extended missions.
The Modular Reconnaissance Heavy Harness is compatible with all platforms in the Modular Reconnaissance line.
